About the Coach

I'm Dinusha Koggalahewa, founder of Aspire Coaching NZ, and an Executive and Certified Master Transformational Coach.

After 18 years in a corporate career I decided to pivot to entrepreneurship and coaching to pursue my passion in empowering small business owners and their teams to see what they can achieve if they're able to tap into their fullest potential.

From my prior career I bring extensive experience from leading teams and operations across the Asia Pacific region working in highly demanding and fast paced Investment Banking and Data Centre organisations.

My Coaching Style

As a coach, I help my clients see themselves with more clarity to help them overcome the obstacles in their way.. I trust in the innate wisdom we all possess and empower my clients to unlock their greatness through reflective thinking and generative learning.

My approach is grounded in creating a safe, non-judgemental, and confidential environment where clients can explore their challenges and aspirations. I empower clients to lead the direction of the conversation, ensuring their journey remains authentic and aligned with their goals.

I bring a wealth of lived experience and professional expertise, allowing me to connect with my clients on a deep level and guide them through their unique journeys toward growth and transformation.

  • Almost 45 years of Life Experience:

    • Successfully building a high-performing career in the corporate space;

    • Pivoting my career in my 40s to pursue a more purposeful and fulfilling path;

    • Engaging in a personal journey of meaning, connection, and self-discovery;

    • Transforming my life by creating an empowered and fulfilling vision for the future;

    • Navigating challenges related to stress, burnout, and chronic health impacts;

    • Managing complex family relationship dynamics;

    • Overcoming patterns of negativity and victim mentality to cultivate resilience and growth;

    • Diverse multi-cultural experiences, born in Sri Lanka, raised in Zambia (Africa), boarding school in South Africa, secondary school and tertiary education in New Zealand. Worked across three countries (New Zealand for 6 years, Australia for 1 year, and Singapore for 11 years)

  • Almost 20 years of Corporate Work Experience:

    • Spent the majority of my career in technical operations management within corporate real estate, including 10 years at Goldman Sachs Singapore, 4 years at ANZ Banking Group New Zealand, and 4 years with other leading service providers in New Zealand, Australia, and Singapore;

    • Specialized in developing high-performing teams to sustain results working under extreme pressure environments/conditions;

    • Most recently served as Vice President at Goldman Sachs Singapore for 10 years before pivoting my career. Progressing my role from sub-regional to regional management and ultimately Head of Engineering for the APAC (excluding India).

    • Led culturally diverse and regionally dispersed teams across the Asia-Pacific region, fostering collaboration and consistency in standards
